Our Mission

Wildlife conservation is multi-disciplinary scientific, socio-economic focused domain where each initiative should be well planned and designed, so that conservation prospects get the best of the efforts. Our mission is to make AIWC a forum, where young and experienced share thoughts and ideas to offer researched solutions for conservation related problems that constraint future of wildlife and their habitats. The long term vision entails that in a few years from now the AIWC has the capability to fully assist the government and other institutions to take up the imperatives of various in-situ and ex-situ conservation challenges through systematic research and that the state of Tamil Nadu emerges as a leader in wildlife knowledge and research.
